Aunt Sarah's
Aunt Sarah's Harbor View House sits at the corner of Pleasant and South Streets in the historical waterfront district of Hyannis. The block between Pleasant Street and School Street has recently been declared a National Historic District. The property is part of BHA's RAP (rental acquisition program) serving lower income working individuals within our community. Aunt Sarah's is an old Sea Captain's house that BHA renovated and converted into 10 separate units; either 1 bedroom or studio. There are laundry facilities on site. The ground level floor has been redone and upgraded by BHA's modernization efforts. There are 3 floors and no elevator; one unit is handicapped accessible.
These units are not subsidized; they are affordable. Housing subsidies are accepted or residents may self-pay rent.
Beaches, Main Street, and the island ferries are all just a short walk away.
