Located one block up from Hyannis' Main Street, the Captain Clarence Eldridge House is a remodeled and restored old sea captain's house that provides 18 units of subsidized congregate housing for elderly or disabled adults requiring minimal services. There is a part time resident services coordinator on site during the week.  Each unit has a bedroom/sitting area, 1/2 bath and mini kitchen.  There are fully handicapped accessible bathrooms within the building.  Residents may take the stairs or an elevator to the 2nd floor.  Captain Eldridge has a large kitchen, community dining area, a parlor, and a living room shared by all.
